The first Pinnacle-class ship to be introduced by Holland America, ms Koningsdam will also be the first to bear that name. “Koning” meaning king in Dutch is a salute to King Willem-Alexander, the Netherland’s first king in more than 100 years.
With that in mind, Holland America have commissioned legendary architects to create fresh contemporary styling in harmony with the line’s renowned classic elegance. Ms Koningsdam is the height of luxury, featuring new purpose-built family and single staterooms. Onboard entertainment is more energetic than ever before with the additional of the Music Walk area, showcasing all genres of music from chamber music to chart topping hits and Memphis music in B.B. King’s Blues Club.
Dining options onboard will not disappoint with an immersive farm-to-table experience in the Culinary Arts Centre, Italian cuisine at Canaletto and pan-Asian flavours at the Tamarind. Casual dining is also on offer at the Lido Market and Dive-In.
