Port of Call - Dravuni
Boasting a dramatically rugged landscape, Dravuni Island is part of the scenic Kadavu group of Fiji Islands. Boasting glorious, untouched beaches and fantastic weather, it´s where travelers come for some peace and quiet, and an escape from the real world.
Within the first few moments of stepping on the island you will discover just why Fijians are considered the most friendly and hospitable people in the world. Soak up the culture of the 200 or so people that call this tiny island home, before taking a dip in the gorgeous blue waters that surround it.
Covering an area of just 0.8 kilometres, it can easily be explored on foot, even if your stay is a short one.
Since there aren´t any taxis on the island, your only means of getting around are on your feet. However, you will be rewarded for this as you will be exposed to stunning surroundings, whichever way you look.
If you´re feeling particularly energetic, make sure you endeavor on the trek up the slopes of Dravuni´s highest peak where you will discover fabulous views of the surrounding islands.
Snorkeling
Imagine swimming in water where the visibility is so clear you would think you were swimming through air.
This is exactly what you will experience when you swim and snorkel in the waters surrounding Dravuni Island.
See colourful fish and coral as you glide through the turquoise waters at your own pace.
It doesn´t get better than this!
