This ship is Australia's first mega liner, imagine three football fields end on end and you have some idea of the size of her.
Three swimming pools, a full size basketball court and then you have the Royal Promenade, an indoor shopping centre that is 350 feet in length with indoor shops, pubs, bars and cafes. There is also the La Scala theatre, three stories in height, with Broadway style shows, offering the very latest in entertainment technology.
The Voyager of the Seas is often referred to as a “floating hotel” given the number and range of amenities that it offers to guests. When the ship was launched, it included the first rock climbing wall and an ice-skating rink which is used for both public use and professional shows.
In May of 2014, she will undergo a massive refurbishment including an outdoor movie screen, digital signage, Wi-Fi aboard the entire ship, new Diamond and Concierge lounges and upgrades to the Promenade and restaurants.
This ship is suited to families, couples, first-time cruisers, repeat customers, people who like a wide range of activities and wedding parties.
With spacious public areas, enhanced staterooms and a spectacular multi-storey dining room, this ship is worth checking out
